Documentation Needed for
a Mortgage Loan
For both Borrower and Co-Borrower:

- Copies of W-2 forms for the most recent two years

- Pay check stubs for the most recent 30 days

- If either borrower or co-borrower is self-employed, copies of past two years tax returns (all pages),
PLUS a year-to-date profit & loss statement

- 3 months of bank statements,
all pages for all financial accounts

- Settlement statement for current mortgage
(if refinanced)

- Survey (if current within the last 7 years)
for present property, if refinanced

- Front page of hazard insurance policy, if refinanced

- Copy of current mortgage (if refinanced)
